Mr. Bilbe is a mining engineer with 40 years Australian and international mining experience in gold, base metals and iron ore at the operational, managerial and board levels. Mr. Bilbe has held senior positions at Northern Iron, Mount Gibson Iron, Aztec Resources, Portman, Aurora Gold and Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines. Mr Bilbe is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Intermin Resources Limited and Adriatic Metals Plc.

Peter Bradford

BAppSc Extractive Metallurgy, FAusIMM, MSMME
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Bradford is a senior executive and a qualified metallurgist with over 35 years’ experience in gold and base metals mining operations, exploration and development. Mr. Bradford has held senior positions internationally and within Australia with Ashanti Goldfields (and Golden Shamrock Mines), Golden Star Resources, Anvil Mining, Copperbelt Minerals and PMI Gold.

Geoffrey Clifford

Non-Executive Director & Chairman of Nomination and Governance Committee

Mr. Clifford was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of IGO in 2012. From 2007 until 2011, Mr. Clifford was a Director of Atlas Iron, Centaurus Metals and Fox Resources. From December 2008 to July 2011, he was Chairman of Atlas Iron. Mr. Clifford was a Director and consultant to Aztec Resources, and General Manager Administration and Company Secretary of Portman for eight years. Mr. Clifford is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Tyranna Resources Limited and a Non-Executive Director of Saracen Mineral Holdings.

Peter Buck

Mr. Buck was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of IGO in October 2014. Mr. Buck is a geologist with over 40 years’ experience. He has worked with WMC Resources, Forrestania Gold and LionOre and was Managing Director of Breakaway Resources. He has been a Director of Gallery Gold Ltd and PMI Gold and is currently a Director of Antipa Minerals.

Keith Spence

Mr. Spence was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of IGO in December 2014. Mr Spence has over 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry with Shell and Woodside. Mr Spence was a Non-Executive director of Oil Search, the Non-Executive Chairman of Geodynamics Limited, and Chair of the Board of the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority. He is currently the Non-Executive Chairman of Santos and Base Resources Limited and a Non-Executive director of Murray & Roberts.

Neil Warburton

Mr. Warburton was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of IGO in October 2015. Mr. Warburton is a qualified mining engineer with more than 37 years’ experience in gold and nickel development and mining. He has previously held senior executive positions with Barminco Limited and Coolgardie Gold and most recently a Non-Executive Director of Australian Mines Limited, Sirius Resources NL, Peninsular Energy Limited, Namibian Copper Limited and Non-Executive Chairman of Red Mountain Mining Ltd. He is currently the Non-Executive Chairman of Flinders Mines Ltd and Coolgardie Minerals Ltd.

Debra Bakker

Ms. Bakker was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of IGO in December 2016. Ms. Bakker is an experienced financier and deal maker with more than 25 years’ experience in the resources industry with significant international experience. Ms. Bakker has previously held senior positions with Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Standard Bank London Group and Barclays Capital. She is currently the Western Australian Representative for Auramet Trading LLC and a Non-Executive Director of Capricorn Metals Ltd, Azumah Resources Ltd and Access Housing Australia.

Scott Steinkrug

Chief Financial Officer

Scott is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience in the resources industry gained with Rio Tinto, Sons of Gwalia, Perilya and Consolidated Minerals where held positions including Financial Controller and Manager, Treasury & Finance. Prior to 1997, he worked for a mid-tier accounting firm. Scott was appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer with IGO in 2011.

Matt Dusci

Chief Operating Officer

Matt was appointed General Manager New Business for IGO in 2014. Matt has 20 years’ experience in exploration, resource development, studies, due diligence and operations. Matt has held senior management positions within PMI Gold, Gold Fields and WMC Resources. Matt has extensive international experience, having worked in Australia, South America, Africa and Asia.

Sam Retallack

Head of People & Culture

Sam was appointed Human Resources Manager for IGO in 2013 and has over 25 years’ experience in senior management, human resources and operational roles. Prior to joining IGO, Sam managed large workforce based businesses in retail and domestic aviation, before turning to roles in Human Resource management across the mining, finance, legal and biomedical sectors.

Keith Ashby

Head of Health Safety Environment Quality (HSEQ) & Risk

Keith was appointed Sustainability Manager for IGO in 2015. Keith has 20 years’ local and international experience in the resources industry. Keith has held Health, Safety, Environment and Community management positions within WMC Resources, BHP Billiton, Zinifex, Nyrstar and Newcrest. These included HSEC Manager, Group Environment Manager, Approvals Manager and Resettlement Manager.

Joanne McDonald

Company Secretary & Head of Corporate Affairs

Joanne was appointed Company Secretary for IGO in 2015. She has over 15 years’ experience as a company secretarial professional working for listed companies in Australia and the UK. Prior to joining IGO, Joanne held positions with Paladin Energy Ltd, Summit Resources Ltd and Unilever plc. Joanne is also a member of the WA State Council of Governance Institute Australia.

Ian Sandl

General Manager – Exploration

Ian was appointed General Manager Exploration for IGO in 2017. Ian has 30 years’ experience in mineral exploration and associated geoscience, including near-mine and greenfields exploration for a range of commodities. He has previously held senior management and technical positions within Teck Resources, BHP Minerals and Geo Discovery Group. He has significant international experience having worked across Australia, Africa and Asia.

Andrew Eddowes

Head of Corporate Development

Andrew was appointed Head of Corporate Development in February 2018, with a focus on advancing IGO’s growth and improvement of the asset portfolio through acquisitions and strategic partnerships. Andrew is a geologist with over 20 years’ experience in the exploration and mining industry. He joined IGO in 2003 and has held a number of senior roles in Exploration, Investor Relations and New Business, including playing a key role in the successful acquisition and integration of the Nova Operation into the business.

Kate Barker

General Counsel

Kate joined IGO in 2011 and was appointed General Counsel of IGO in 2017. Kate has more than 17 years’ experience as a commercial litigator specialising in large scale resources litigation, corporate law and native title. Kate is currently a legal member of WA’s Mental Health Review Board and was previously the sitting lawyer on WA Health’s Human Research Ethics Committee.
