Mr. Bilbe is a mining engineer with 45 years’ experience in the mining industry. Mr Bilbe has held various executive management and board positions at Northern Iron, Norseman Gold, Mount Gibson Iron, Aztec Resources, Portman, Thiess Contractors, Aurora Gold and Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines. Mr. Bilbe has a diverse breadth of experience in the mining industry in Australia and overseas with a background in gold, base metals and iron ore. In particular, Mr Bilbe has significant experience in feasibility studies and project development, open pit and underground mining and processing operations, provision of contract mining services and public company stewardship as Director and Chairman. He is currently the non-executive director of Adriatic Metals Plc and Horizon Minerals Limited.

Mr. Bradford is a senior executive and a qualified metallurgist with over 35 years’ experience in gold and base metals mining operations, exploration and development. Mr. Bradford has held senior positions internationally and within Australia with Ashanti Goldfields (and Golden Shamrock Mines), Golden Star Resources, Anvil Mining, Copperbelt Minerals and PMI Gold.

Ms. Debra Bakker was appointed as a Non-executive Director of IGO in December 2016. Ms. Bakker is an experienced financier and deal maker with more than 27 years’ experience in the resources industry with significant international experience. Ms. Bakker has previously held senior positions with Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Standard Bank London Group and Barclays Capital and was the non-executive chair of Capricorn Metals Ltd and a non-executive director of Azumah Resources Ltd. She is currently the Western Australian Representative for Auramet Trading LLC.

Ms. Kathleen Bozanic was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of IGO in October 2019. Ms. Bozanic has over 25 years of experience as a finance professional including as Chief Financial Officer/General Manager of listed and private mining and contracting companies. Ms. Bozanic has previously held senior positions with BGC Contracting, Atlas Iron and Mt Gibson and was a Partner of professional services firm, Deloitte. She is currently a non-executive director of Great Southern Mining Limited.

Mr. Peter Buck was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of IGO in October 2014. Mr. Buck is a geologist with over 40 years’ experience. Mr Buck has worked with WMC Resources, Forrestania Gold and LionOre, and was managing director of Breakaway Resources. He has been a director of Gallery Gold Ltd and PMI Gold and is currently a director of Antipa Minerals.

Mr. Keith Spence was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of IGO in December 2014. Mr Spence has over 40 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry with Shell and Woodside. Mr Spence was a non-executive director of Murray & Roberts Holdings Limited and Oil Search Limited, the non-executive chairman of Geodynamics Limited, and chaired the Board of the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority. He is currently the non-executive Chairman of Santos and Base Resources Limited.

Mr. Neil Warburton was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of IGO in October 2015. Mr. Warburton is a qualified mining engineer with more than 38 years’ experience in gold and nickel development and mining. He has previously held senior executive positions with Barminco Limited and Coolgardie Gold and most recently a non-executive director of Australian Mines Limited, Sirius Resources NL, Peninsular Energy Limited, Namibian Copper Limited and non-executive chairman of Red Mountain Mining Ltd and Coolgardie Minerals Ltd. He is currently the non-executive chairman of Flinders Mines Ltd.

Scott is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand with in excess of 20 years' experience in the mining resources industry gained as Chief Financial Officer since 2011 with IGO, Consolidated Minerals Limited, Perilya Limited, Rio Tinto Limited and Sons of Gwalia Limited. He has also held positions including Manager; Treasury & Finance and Financial Controller.

Matt was appointed General Manager New Business for IGO in 2014. Matt has 20 years’ experience in exploration, resource development, studies, due diligences and operations. Matt has held senior management positions within PMI Gold, Gold Fields and WMC Resources. Matt has extensive international experience, having worked in Australia, South America, Africa and Asia.

Sam was appointed Human Resources Manager for IGO in 2013 and has over 25 years’ experience in senior management, human resources and operational roles. Prior to joining IGO, Sam managed large workforce based businesses in retail and domestic aviation, before turning to roles in Human Resource management across the mining, finance, legal and biomedical sectors.

Keith was appointed Sustainability Manager for IGO in 2015. Keith has 20 years’ local and international experience in the resources industry. Keith has held HSEC management positions within WMC Resources, BHP Billiton, Zinifex, Nyrstar and Newcrest. These included HSEC Manager, Group Environment Manager, Approvals Manager and Resettlement Manager.

Joanne joined IGO in 2015 as Company Secretary and in July 2018 was also appointed Head of Corporate Affairs. Joanne has over 16 years’ experience as a company secretarial professional working for listed companies in Australia and the UK. Prior to joining IGO, Joanne held positions with Paladin Energy Ltd, Summit Resources Ltd and Unilever plc. Joanne is currently a WA State Councillor for the Governance Institute of Australia.

General Manager – Exploration

Ian was appointed General Manager Exploration for IGO in 2017. Ian has 30 years’ experience in mineral exploration and associated geoscience, including near-mine and greenfields exploration for a range of commodities. He has previously held senior management and technical positions within Teck Resources, BHP Minerals and Geo Discovery Group and has significant international experience having worked across Australia, Africa and Asia.

Head of Corporate Development

Andrew is a geologist with over 20 years’ experience in the exploration and mining industry. He has worked on major projects within Australia and internationally, with his experience extending from project generation to mine development in a variety of technical and corporate roles. Andrew joined IGO in 2003 and has held a number of senior roles in Exploration, Investor Relations and New Business, including playing a key role in the successful acquisition and integration of the Nova nickel copper cobalt operation into the business. In February 2018, Andrew was appointed Head of Corporate Development with a focus on advancing IGO’s growth and improvement of the asset portfolio through acquisitions and strategic partnerships.


General Counsel

Kate joined IGO in 2011 and was appointed General Counsel in 2017. Kate has more than 17 years’ experience as a commercial litigator specialising in large scale resources litigation, corporate law and native title. Kate is currently a legal member of WA’s Mental Health Review Board and was previously the sitting lawyer on WA Health’s Human Research Ethics Committee.
